ABOUT THE PROJECT
Calling The Soul is a fantasy picture book that brings together Yi folklore and traditional Chinese motifs. Adapted from soul-calling poetry in Bimo scriptures, the story follows a young girl’s soul on its journey home.
Through this journey, I explore the feeling of losing touch with oneself—and the possibility of finding a way back.
